About Energetix

Energetix is a South Florida breakbeat and bass producer, DJ, and mastering engineer, and the founder of the Low Orbit Studios imprint. Two decades in the underground, from hard trance rooms to Ultra Music Festival, shape a catalog built on one standard: if it doesn’t move the floor, it doesn’t leave the studio.

Energetix has spent more than twenty years chasing one feeling: the moment a room locks into a groove and moves as one. He builds breakbeat with weight and melody in equal measure, heavyweight drums and acid-tinged basslines carrying the melodic instincts he first formed in hard trance and techno. Every record is written, engineered, and mastered in his South Florida studio and released through Low Orbit Studios, the imprint he founded to share the music exactly as he hears it.

The story starts in the crowd. He was a teenager at Ultra Music Festival when electronic music stopped being something he listened to and became something he had to make. He learned to mix, earned his way into South Florida’s underground, and spent years as a peak-time and after-hours DJ across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Hollywood, part of the same scene that gave breaks some of its most storied names. In 2009 he completed the Audio Technology program at SAE Institute Miami. In 2010 he stood on a stage at Ultra, the festival that first lit the fire, this time with the crowd in front of him. Seven editions of Earthdance Florida followed, as a performer and as part of the crews running audio, lighting, and video behind the scenes.

The production catalog grew quietly for years, breakbeat made for the love of it while the sound matured. It surfaced in 2023 with “Loaded” on Miami’s Gigabeat Records, and the momentum has carried ever since: the launch of Low Orbit Studios, the melodic breaks single “Anemoia,” and an official remix of “The Chant” for Florida breaks pioneer Sharaz, a co-sign from the lineage that raised him. His remixes reach from New Order to Lady Gaga, each rebuilt for the floor with the care of someone who grew up on the originals.

Craft is the constant. He masters every record in-house because he wants the music to reach you the way it sounded in the studio. Behind the decks he plays like a storyteller, weaving new music through the classics, building tension and releasing it, drawing on timing learned beatmatching vinyl long before sync buttons existed.

Today, Low Orbit Studios is both label and home, and Energetix is making the strongest music of his career, held to the same standard as always: if it doesn’t move the floor, it doesn’t leave the studio. New material is on the way.
